Creating a floor plan for types
A floor plan gives a structured room-by-room overview of your type and the amenities within each room. Integration partners (like OTAs) use this structured data to improve search filter accuracy, and give guests clear expectations.
Before you begin
Available floor plan choices for floors and room types are managed for the whole organization. Check whether this has been done before adding any floor plans to types.

If you have organization manager rights, you will also be able to create additional floors and room type options on the spot (when creating a floor plan). Click either 'Add a floor' or 'Add a room type' underneath the corresponding input fields.
Adding a floor plan
Go to your types index in the Setup module. One of the columns in the index will show you which types already have a floor plan, and which have not. Open the type you want to edit, and go to the 'Floor plan' tab.
Click 'New' to add a room to your floor plan.
Selecting a floor from the dropdown is optional.
Selecting a room type is required.
Add a specifier in the number / description field if desired; this is useful if you have multiple of the same room types. For example, give each bedroom a number, or specify that the room type 'toilet' is near the entrance.
Use the listed amenity groups to navigate to the amenities you want to add to this room.

Click 'Save room'.
Repeat this for all relevant rooms in the type.
When you are done, all added rooms are visible in the 'Floor plan' tab of the type.
Booking.com synchronization update
Starting in 2027, all types (including camping spots) that are newly added to Booking.com require a floor plan with at least one bedroom. To be considered a valid bedroom, it must have at least one bed configured.
Existing types synchronized with Booking.com without a floor plan will continue to work as usual.
