Getting started with Campaigns
Campaigns is the CMS direct e-mail marketing tool that you can use to send targeted messages to predefined audiences, and to track the efficiency of these messages in statistics. BEX Campaigns replaces the older email campaigns.
Switching from email campaigns
When switching from the older email campaigns feature, it is recommended to focus on transferring your contacts. Ensure they’re in the correct segments, with the correct consent. Your message templates can best be rebuilt from scratch.
How to use campaigns messages
The audiences for your messages will be filled with Campaigns contacts, which in turn can be sourced from BEX PMS (bookers or owners), contact forms on your website, or a manual import of email addresses. Your message content is built using flexible content blocks, and can be saved as templates.
Some examples of Campaigns messages:
A welcome back campaign: address contacts who have stayed with you around this time last year, remind them of their past stay and entice them to come back again.
Owner newsletter: inform your owner contacts about noteworthy developments with an owner marketing message.
Push last-minute availability: inform contacts who have booked last-minutes before of unexpected availability, to entice them to book a last-minute getaway.
Sales leads follow-up: stay in contact with people who have expressed interest in one of your accommodations for sale, ask them to schedule a viewing or poll interest in similar accommodations.
Creating your first message
Go through the steps below to not only create your first message, but also prepare your Campaigns workflow for future repeated use. Many elements can be used again; saving you time when creating your next messages.
Segments and consent
Go to 'Contacts' and click the 'Segments' button to view your existing segments.
Segments are the basic contact groups that you use to define your audience later. A single contact is usually present in multiple segments, and at least one of them is a consent segment.
