Add amenities to a type or object
After amenity groups and amenities have been set up in the organization settings, they can be added to a type and/or object. This is often done when the types and objects are first created, and after amenities change due to an upgrade or refurbishment.
Adding amenities to a type
Do this if all objects of the type have this same amenity.
Find the relevant type, and click 'Edit'. At the bottom of the page, select the amenities that apply to this type. The amenities are sorted by amenity group.
Adding amenities to an object
Do this if the amenity is not available for all objects of the type.
Find the relevant object, and add amenities to a new or existing setup. Creating a new setup is a good idea if a new amenity will be installed on a known future date, and you want to make sure the online availability of the object correctly reflects this.
Existing setup: click on the date under 'Active from' to open the setup and start adding 'additional amenities to the type amenities'. Save when done.
New setup: Click the 'New setup' button. Adding amenities is done in the same way as for an existing setup, but before you save, also determine the other new setup settings.
The amenities that are linked to a type are synchronized to distribution channels.
Object-specific amenities are only visible on your own website.
