Monthly recap

Updated todo and cost management, bulk updates for objects, promoting guest to main guest, and more.
The Todo overview now features a cost column with detailed tooltip breakdowns for material and labor expenses. From the individual todo, these costs can be edited. Additionally, the scheduled date for a periodic todo can be changed by editing the todo details. A notification will be displayed if this deviates from the original schedule. Revert back to the initial schedule by clicking a button.
The todo module now displays a status badge for paused todos in the executor portal and backoffice. A new filter can shortlist paused todos, and the executor portal provides clearer guidance when pausing todos. In the contractor portal, shift badges for same-day guest arrivals are displayed. This helps contractors prioritize todos based on immediate occupancy needs.
The interface for viewing, creating, and editing costs in the backoffice has been completely redesigned for better usability. By replacing the previous multi-step configuration with a single, unified form, creating and editing costs is now significantly faster.
Periodic costs can now be priced per square meter of an object. This new pricing option is available when you create or edit periodic cost items. It offers more flexibility for managing object-related expenses, provided the surface area has been recorded in the respective object or type settings.
You can now update start and end dates for the active rent periods of multiple objects at once. This, as well as the bulk deletion of objects, can be done directly from the objects index page. These tools significantly reduce the time spent on large-volume object management
You can now edit or delete individual meter readings directly from the object page. The readings are sorted from newest to oldest by default. This ensures you always see and manage the most recent data first.
In the reservation guest, you can now promote any person to main guest through the more options button. This offers more control over your reservation guest list.
BEX PMS now records all changes made to the date setting for locked accounting records. This audit trail details who modified the lock date, when the change occurred, and the previous and new values. These logs enhance security and accountability within your administration settings.
Invoices and receipts now include more payment details, such as payment references, terminal identifiers, and full timestamps. Amounts excluding VAT are visible on receipt items while VAT totals are reordered for readability.
The reservations export now includes columns for total paid and outstanding amounts. These additions offer a comprehensive overview of your booking payment statuses. It simplifies financial tracking and reporting for your administrative team.
Prices for available bundles and extras in the checkout portal now include currency symbols. This small update ensures that guests do not experience ambiguity regarding the currency.
For English-language addresses in reservations and invoices, the city is displayed in front of the postcode. It ensures you follow standard British address conventions.
The register count now shows a full breakdown of cash denominations and quantities. This data is also included in the generated PDF. This improves accuracy and transparency for your daily closing procedures.

Bunny.net videos, Google consent transparency, updated scripts setting, and consistent guest types.
Bunny.net support is now available in the content management video section. This means videos hosted via Bunny.net can be embedded directly into your website content, for a fast and reliable viewing experience.
The cookie consent banner now includes a link to Google data responsibility guidelines. This update helps your website visitors understand how their data influences personalized advertisements, improving transparency and building trust.
The tracking code field in the CMS general settings has been renamed to “header scripts”. This change more accurately reflects the diverse types of code snippets you can manage there. It makes finding and updating your website scripts more intuitive.
Subsites now automatically inherit hidden guest type settings from your main site. This ensures that your guest types remain consistent across your website. You no longer need to manually configure these settings for each individual subsite.

Monthly recap

App Store redesign for PMS, Cynox Camp-Card enhancement, and three new app integrations.
The App Store has been fully unified with the BEX PMS layout to provide a more cohesive and efficient management experience. This update brings the installed applications and developer tools directly into your primary workspace, with modern modal drawers where possible for user-friendly app configuration.
App integrations in the App Store now include information about the countries they are operational in. This enhancement allows you to filter and view apps based on their operational regions, ensuring the services you select are suited to your park or resort.
Guest arrival and access management are now more streamlined through our improved integration with Cynox. By storing object reference numbers directly on Camp-Cards, the system facilitates a smoother access control process, allowing your guests to move effortlessly through your facilities using their assigned cards.
BEX now supports a full-content connection with Vakantieveilingen to reach the Dutch market for leisure deals. This integration is managed by channel manager Qenner, contact them for more information.
The RZL Connector app simplifies financial workflows for users of the RZL accounting software, specifically in Austria and Germany. The app automatically generates files from booking data suitable to be imported into RZL, to reduce manual entry errors. Flexible configuration options allow for export ranges to align with specific accounting requirements.
Guestnet also focuses on the DACH region, and can provide a comprehensive digital companion for guests via web and mobile apps. This integration automatically syncs reservation profiles and stay data to centralize all communication from pre-arrival to post-stay. Guests can use the portal to book additional services and access real-time information through personal magic links.

VAT settings, group bookings, segments, portal updates, and more efficient todo management.
A specific VAT calculation date can be selected for reservation invoices to ensure total compliance with tax shifts, such as upcoming VAT increases. A new setting allows you to choose between the guest's departure date or the booking confirmation date as the applied calculation date.
Users with advanced financial roles now have the flexibility to edit the names of standard ledger accounts. By navigating to the Ledger accounts in the PMS, you can update these names to better align with your internal bookkeeping requirements.
Point of Sale (POS) receipts and their corresponding PDF versions now display the full date and time of a payment. This addition of a complete timestamp provides better transparency for both back office and guests regarding the exact moment a transaction occurred.
The PMS now has a dedicated multi-accommodation search feature designed to create group bookings for large groups. By starting a group booking from the main menu, you can manage multiple type availabilities and reservation previews within a streamlined interface, making it significantly faster to process complex group bookings.
A new birthday date filter has been added to the reservations index, allowing you to quickly identify guests celebrating a birthday on a specific day. To assist with personalized guest experiences, the birthday icon tooltip now displays the exact birth date of the guest.
Stay informed about reservations in option with new reception messages. Automated updates will be sent whenever an option is created, confirmed, canceled by a guest, or reaches its expiration date.
The list of available segments has been expanded to include more specific categories such as Villa, Treehouse, Tiny House, and Hotel Room. Utilizing these segments improves the accuracy of your integrations with OTAs and enhances how these types are filtered for potential guests.
A new Todo tab is now available within the Owner Portal, providing owners with a clear overview of planned and completed todos related to their objects. Ensure owners stay informed about maintenance and tasks by editing their owner profile to include Todos in their portal permissions.
The Guest Portal has a dedicated section containing your contact details, making it easier for guests to reach out. Guests can find your email and phone contact details directly within their portal.
To provide better visual clarity, reservations that are actually an option are now displayed in orange on the yearly availability calendar. This color-coding is applied in the calendars in the owner portal as well as the object show page, allowing for a quick distinction between confirmed and tentative bookings.
Owners now have the ability to add a note when creating a booking through their owner portal. This new note field allows owners to communicate specific needs or details when booking, mirroring the standard online booking experience.
When creating todos, you can now use a quick-select tool to assign tasks to all objects of a specific type. This significantly reduces the manual effort required to set up recurring or type-specific maintenance tasks across your park.
When assigning executors to todos via the management menu, any filters stay activated. After assigning a todo, the system will return to your previously filtered list, allowing for a much faster workflow when assigning multiple todos.
The title field for contacts and bookers has been made optional and now supports a wider range of localized options. If left blank, formal communications will automatically fall back to a polite, neutral salutation, ensuring professional correspondence even when data is missing.

Your costs won’t change - but the settings pages will. We’ve simplified the rather outdated cost pages and their settings to make creating and managing cost items easier and more intuitive. This update will be active in your PMS next week.
When creating a new cost item, you’ll first be asked whether you want to create a mandatory cost item, or an optional add-on. This distinction allows for an easier set-up. You’ll also notice some settings are presented differently; their functionality remains the same.

When creating a new cost item, you still determine a default price and differentiation level. However, the actual price differentiation and subsequent management of cost prices will be accessible separately, for both existing and new cost items. When opening a cost item from the overview, you will see that its price and pricing settings can be viewed and edited independently of the other cost settings.
This will make updating and indexing the prices of costs quicker and easier.

With the new Bunny video widget, videos stored and managed via Bunny.net can easily be added to pages. The widget is very similar to other video widgets, link the correct video by entering the Bunny video IDs.
When configuring the Button widget to link to another page on your own website, you can now click the search icon to easily and quickly find and add the CMS page you want the button to link to.
A new safety check for user deletions shows an alert when attempting to delete an Account Manager or Main User. This is to prevent accidental loss of data or access.

Updates for Airbnb, Booking.com, Hoseasons pricing, Peppol invoices, and new Landal connection.
Airbnb's technical requirements no longer allow multiple price periods for costs. For existing setups where multiple periods were in use, BEX has automatically linked a copy of the cost with only the current price to the channel, ensuring your listings remain compliant and synchronized.
Manually updating pricing directly from the Hoseasons integration app is now possible when a pricing feed is used. You can push price changes to Hoseasons instantly without waiting for the next automated background sync.
There is also a new calculation method that automatically derives five-night and six-night prices from the seven-night price (when enabled). This ensures your pricing strategy remains consistent with Hoseasons' internal standards.
Your Booking.com messages, including welcome notes and neighborhood details, now sync with all available translations. Your guests receive important information in their preferred language, from the moment of booking. If the 'host profile' content synchronization has been enabled, the welcome message now also includes descriptions relating to your Booking.com property.
Tourist tax for Booking.com is now applied as a property charge, meaning that tax is applied the same way for all connected types. Guests also see the improved price breakdown.
A new automatic pricing data synchronization between Booking Experts and the Landal platform ensures consistent and up-to-date pricing across both systems. This eliminates the need for manual price management for Landal users.
Peppol invoices now automatically include comprehensive payment instructions. This update adds the online payment portal URL, IBAN, and BIC directly to the invoice, making it easier for guests and partners to settle balances through their preferred methods.
Peppol invoices also include the specific stay period start and end dates whenever they are available. This addition provides your guests with more comprehensive billing details, for more transparency about stay durations on corporate invoices.
The BigQuery integration has been expanded with a new dimension for subdomain data. Users can now select and sync this specific dimension, providing deeper insights and more granular reporting capabilities for organizations with multiple subdomains.

Soon, managing your integrations will become more intuitive and more accessible from within BEX PMS as a central apps module at the organizational level.
This upcoming redesign will not remove the familiar market stall icon in the navigation bar, but it will take you to a new place: an app store module within the PMS organizational view. This means we’re leaving behind the current, separate environment for integration management.
Don’t worry, the content and settings of your apps will not change, and the app management rights are still restricted to organizational managers and IT managers. When managing an installed app, the command bar will be displayed as a more compact dropdown.
The layout and design of the app store will become in line with the PMS itself, further demonstrating that integration management is truly a part of BEX PMS. Compact app indexes will give you a clear overview of available apps, and your installed apps.

As an added bonus, the app developer experience will also change. Developers get their own app dashboard within the app store module, which Booking Experts will continue to improve after this redesign.
