New

App Store Recras integration for the Benelux region — Connect Recras to BEX PMS to allow guests to seamlessly reserve activities, packages, food, drinks, and experiences alongside their stay. Guest data transfers automatically into Recras, where activity management and payments take place; while the guest’s accommodation is entirely managed in Booking Experts.

  • PMS Reviews Reviews can now be filtered by accommodation type — You can now filter guest reviews by specific accommodation types. This makes it easier to spot trends and analyze feedback across different accommodation categories. #37412

  • PMS Setup Adding localized alt text to images on types and objects — Users can set alt text in multiple languages on images added to types and objects. This text should be a description of what can be seen in the image, and will be synchronized to CMS in the future for search engine optimization. #37853

  • PMS Financials Payment exports now include exact creation timestamps for accurate reconciliation — Payment exports now include the full creation date and time for each transaction. This allows users to reconcile payments across specific 24-hour windows. #33116

  • INT Access Control The CloudPass integration now creates vehicle access for owners — Owners with active agreements and registered license plates now automatically receive vehicle access in CloudPass. The system automatically maintains access duration for open-ended agreements. #38187

Restrictions, booking portal payment step, map in back office, group booking invoice template, and more.

Centralized availability restrictions

The new Restrictions grid replaces legacy allotments and type exclusions across the platform. Managers can open or close availability for parks, channels, and types. The system protects online availability and channel strategy, while allowing backoffice overrides.

Integrated payment step in booking portal

The online booking flow now includes a dedicated payment page. Guests can select payment amounts and apply vouchers directly in the portal. This update eliminates unnecessary redirects before reaching the payment provider.

Using interactive map for new reservations in backoffice

Creating a single reservation now includes a toggle to access a map view. Provided that an interactive map is set up, backoffice users can use that map to directly select an available object marker. This visual approach simplifies object selection.

Enhanced group booking filters

When creating a group booking, filters for segments and amenities are now available to further specify available objects. Another new selector also allows assigning a dedicated channel to a group booking.

Customizable group booking invoice summaries

Invoice templates now offer grouping options for group booking charges. Managers can edit a template to combine identical invoice items by name and tax rate. Summarizing invoice items in this manner improves invoice readability for corporate clients using group bookings.

Modernized interface for sending confirmations and invoices

The PMS pages for sending booking confirmations and invoices have an updated, responsive layout. Primary action buttons stay fixed on screen without scrolling. A new sidebar displays quick summaries of reservations and payment schedules.

Price calculation details in the guest portal

The guest portal now shows the calculation logic used for extras and upgrades. Per item, a tooltip or subtitle indicaties the cost breakdown, such as 'per person per day'. This transparency helps guests understand total charges before purchasing extras.

Owner pages show agreements with metrics for personal stays

In an owner’s detail page, more agreement details are displayed instead of focusing on objects only. Users can view metrics such as occupancy and reviews, alongside the applicable owner reservation discounts for personal stays.

Settings centralized in PMS brands, new UK/US locales, action logging, and video widget updates.

Google Maps API key management moved to PMS

The Google Maps API key configuration is now centrally managed within PMS Brands. This ensures consistent map functionality across every integrated platform, including all CMS sites. Administrators no longer need to enter or update the key separately within the CMS settings.

Google Tag Manager configuration moved to PMS

Google Tag Manager settings are now managed directly within PMS Brands. Eliminating separate CMS inputs establishes a single source of truth for tracking parameters. Centralizing these controls maintains unified web tracking across all digital channels, including CMS sites.

Ability to choose between UK or US English

The CMS now provides distinct UK English and US English language selections. Platform administrators can choose which best suits their site content. These options replace the previous generic English setting to support localized content strategies.

Enhanced site activity logging with Last actions

The new Last actions page, located in the CMS management menu, tracks user modifications across site settings, pages, and subsites. The detailed log records who performed each update along with the exact time of the action. Clear visibility into historical updates improves operational context, team collaboration, and overall accountability.

Streamlined video management in BEX video widgets

BEX video widgets now utilize a centralized dropdown menu linked directly to your video library. Selecting assets from the library eliminates manual ID entries, and the system also prevents accidental deletion of active videos.

PMS Availability PMS Channels PMS Costs PMS Types Restrictions are here! — Restrictions now control stay availability across the entire platform, replacing legacy allotments and type exclusion tools. You can configure restriction rules across individual parks, booking channels, rentable types, or specific channel and type combinations.

New: Restrictions to fully manage distribution

App Store New Qenner apps; Goboony and Glampingtips.nl — Two new apps have become available for the Benelux market through channel manager Qenner. Goboony as an OTA specializing in campervan travel, and Glampingtips.nl as an affiliate for unique accommodations or luxury glamping.

Improved

  • PMS Communications Invoice foreign total tags in messages now format monetary values by locale — Message templates now apply locale-specific number formatting and currency symbols to foreign invoice total tags. This ensures amounts display correct decimal separators and currency placement for each recipient language. #38288 #37818

  • PMS Bookings PMS Checkout Portal Date of birth selectors now display years in descending order — The year dropdown in date of birth fields now lists the most recent years first. #37886

  • PMS Guest Portal The reservation overview now displays previously purchased items — Guests can now view their past orders directly on the reservation show page. This information was previously only available on the reservation upgrade page. #36801

  • CMS The highlighted subsites section now supports a minimum of two subsites — This update allows sites with only two subsites to utilize the feature, with automatic centering for left-aligned grids. #38068

Four new apps: guest registration for IDEV and HESTA, GPS routing on parks, and virtual tours.

New: Guest registration apps for DACH, built by FRIVA

Two new automated guest registration apps have been developed by FRIVA, especially for the DACH market. HESTA Beherbergungsstatistik Export and IDEV / eStatistik.core Export streamline required statistical reporting by exporting data directly to the official authorities.

New: PixXmedia GPS routing tool

With the PixXmedia GPS routing tool integration, you can offer guests an easy to follow way to navigate to their booked accommodation within your park, based on GPS and live location data. The integration tool links the reservation to a smartphone browser navigation, requiring no download.

New: PixXmedia virtual tours

PixXmedia Virtual Tours connects an authorized Booking Experts administration to a central, published portal for interactive 360-degree tours. In this portal, you can present all your accommodation types, all available in the same portal address. Use the secure tour link in daily operations and guest communication.

Expanded App Store discovery categories

The App Store now includes dedicated categories for Customer Resource Management, Artificial Intelligence, Event Management, and Voucher Management. These new classifications make it easier to discover and evaluate specialized integrations.

PMS Checkout Portal New pay step integrates payment options in checkout portal — The checkout portal now features a dedicated "Pay" step, integrating all payment methods. This allows guests to select amounts, apply vouchers, and choose methods seamlessly. #37224

PMS Guest Portal The Guest Portal now shows detailed price calculations for extras and upgrades — Guests can now see the underlying calculation for extras, such as 'per item per day', clarifying how costs are determined. #36976

  • PMS Bookings Address forms now automatically populate details when a Dutch postal code is entered — Entering a Dutch postal code now automatically populates the corresponding address fields. #37897

  • PMS Bookings Users with default permissions can now download welcome letters in bulk from the dashboard overview — Backoffice users with default permissions can now generate welcome letters for multiple reservations at once. Other restricted export actions remain protected. #35575

New: Restrictions to fully manage distribution

The new Restrictions grid allows you to use Closed to Stay restrictions to comprehensively manage distribution in a user-friendly, fast, and clear interface.

Global control of your administration’s distribution in a single day-by-day overview. Determine which type is bookable when and through which channels, from the current day onwards, for optimal occupancy.

Optimize your channel mix to maximize revenue

Restrictions offer flexibility and overview with the added context of occupancy rates and ADR (Average Daily Rate). Influence revenue by finetuning availability!

  • Block availability for the entire park, or only for limited types and/or channels

  • Restrictions can be placed for as short as a single night, even last-minute

  • All restrictions, once saved, are immediately live

  • Easily clear restrictions upon opening of new seasons

A combined purpose: functionalities replaced by restrictions

Within restrictions, the purpose of functionalities that were previously scattered in BEX PMS are combined.

  • Type exclusions in channel settings: These are now no longer available; your current type exclusions have been transferred into corresponding restrictions.

  • Zero-allotments: Allotments can now no longer be used to block all object availability for channels. Your current zero-allotments have been transferred into corresponding restrictions.

  • Using arrival and departure schemes to block future years or seasons: This remains technically possible, but the clarity and ease of restrictions means you are better off not to. Arrival and departure schemes can still be used for their original purpose; to encourage LOS and control the busy days for your staff.

  • Inactivating all prices in price lists: It remains possible to set prices to inactive individually. However, by closing availability through restrictions, it is now safe to edit and test future pricing in their default, active state.

PMS Bookings Send Booking confirmation and send Invoice pages layout updates — These screens now feature an updated layout and consistent design elements. The send buttons are always visible without scrolling.

CMS Google Tag Manager settings are now centrally managed within the PMS — The CMS automatically retrieves these settings from your PMS brand configuration, ensuring consistent tracking across all your online channels. Go to your Brand’s Web settings in the PMS to manage your Google Tag Manager configurations.

Improved

  • PMS New semantic segments are available for parking places, owner residences, and recreational vehicles — You can now precisely categorize rentable types such as parking places, owner's/manager's residences, and recreational vehicles. This update replaces the generic "other" segment and are integrated across the PMS and CMS.

  • PMS Guest Portal The guest portal reservation page clearly indicates if the guest list is complete or incomplete — Previously this status was only visible on the booking overview.

  • PMS Settings The Corpus Christi public holiday is added to national holiday settings — The system now includes Corpus Christi as a national recurring holiday. #36409

  • INT App Store The App Store includes a Voucher Management category — A dedicated category for voucher-related applications is now available when browsing or filtering applications in the App Store.

The latest releases and improvements to the Booking Experts products

New

PMS Bookings Users can create a booking using an interactive map in the backoffice — When creating a single reservation booking, a toggle lets you switch between list and map views. The map view displays available objects as interactive markers. Select an object on the map to continue the booking process.

Improved

  • PMS Owners The owner on an agreement can now be changed when all associated invoices are credited — The system now allows owner changes when all invoices linked to an agreement are fully credited. Previously, any existing invoice blocked owner changes.

  • PMS Owners The settlements overview page now features updated columns and a results counter — The settlements page now separates agreement and commission agreement into distinct columns. The agreement link is now clickable for direct access. Start and end dates are merged into a single Period column. A new counter displays the total results above the table.

  • PMS Bookings Group booking rent updates now dynamically display price adjustment information — The system now only displays the price adjustment message when actual adjustments are present on underlying rent items. The message also appears as a primary information alert.

  • INT Distribution The HomeToGo integration now provides all available property translations in Listing.xml — The HomeToGo integration now returns all available property translations. This removes the previous limitation of only providing a few locales. It also sends country-specific locale subtags.

Feature update

NEW: use the map for back office reservations

Add a new reservation through the back office, and switch to a map view to select the right available object.

Incorporated into backoffice creation flow for single reservations

When creating a new reservation for a guest in BEX PMS, the default view for the search results is the familiar list. Using the toggle at the top of the search results, you can now switch to the map view too. Note that a map must have been configured.

  • The map view also only shows markers for objects that match your search filters.

  • Zoom in or out, and move the around the map using click and drag.

  • Clicking a marker will select the object, and the corresponding details are shown on the right.

  • From here, you can continue the reservation process as usual.

Faster process for regular guests with regular spots

If you’re often assisting regular guests to secure their usual place, the map view allows you to quickly select the object that you want, without having to use the filters to narrow down the search results first.
