Invoice templates

Invoice templates determine the layout of the various invoices that you send as an email attachment. The customization options are different from a message template.

Find the invoice templates in the 'Templates' overview among your administration settings.

There are two default invoice templates present, one for guest invoices, and one for owner settlements.

You cannot edit the content of invoice templates in the same way as other templates. This is because the actual content of invoices is determined by the invoice items.

Available invoice template options

  • Selfbilling: With selfbilling, you create an invoice addressed to yourself on behalf of the buyer. This is never used for guest invoices, but can be useful for owner settlements, depending on the type of owners you have.

  • Merge invoice items: If activated, it merges invoice items for rental revenue and commission into one item.

  • Use administration contact details: By default, this is activated to show the administration address on the invoice. Deactivate the checkbox to enter a deviating address and banking information.

  • Use organization logo: By default, this is activated to show the organization logo on the invoice. Deactivate the checkbox to upload a different logo for this invoice template.

  • Use default vertical position for addressee: Most window envelopes use the same margin from the top to show the addressee details. If the window envelopes you use are different, you can adjust that margin here.

  • Left or right window: Again, depending on what kind of window envelopes you use, you can show the addressee details on the left or right of the page.

  • Additional details: Any text entered here is shown underneath the payment details with your bank account number, etc. This space can be used to add alternative payment instructions, if available.

  • Footer: The content already present in the footer uses tags to retrieve administration contact details and display it on the invoice. This default can be edited.

Create new invoice template

When creating a new invoice template, the same options listed above are available.
A reason for adding another invoice template might be that you want to use selfbilling for some of the owners, but not all. To apply the new invoice template, edit the relevant commission agreement and change the invoice template linked there.
