Email follow-up for incomplete booking
If a guest has abandoned their booking in the booking portal, after already having entered their email address, the template 'Guest has left booking portal' is used to follow up on this and entice the guest to complete their booking.
This template can be deactivated or personalized and edited just like the other message templates.

By default, the template contains a 'Complete booking' link, which takes the recipient back to the unfinished booking page.
Success rate of following up on incomplete bookings
The 'Complete booking' link in the message contains UTM tagging, that you can use to view the statistics of who clicked the link in Google Analytics.
In Google Analytics, go to 'Acquisition' and then 'Campaigns', you will find the 'unconfirmed booking' campaign there. Or, go to 'Acquisition' > 'All traffic' > 'Source/medium' and search for the key word 'abandoned'. The data may not be immediately visible, try adjusting the period to 30 days.
