Periodic costs
Set up recurring (service) costs
- Invoicing periodic costs to ownersIf you want to invoice owners for services that you provide, unrelated to individual reservations, you do so using periodic costs. After the periodic costs have been set up correctly, you can create invoices for them.
- Creating periodic costsTo charge an owner for recurring costs, like service fees or garden maintenance, you create a periodic cost and add it to the owner agreement or profile. The same periodic cost item can be applied to multiple owners.
- Custom invoicing period for periodic cost If you choose to charge periodic costs, you have the option to select a custom period for one (or more) periodic cost items. This is useful for recurring costs that you want to charge annually, or quarterly. Adjusting the set period allows you to split the invoicing period, as well as the associated charged amount into (several) parts. This may be useful in case of a change of ownership in the middle of a regular invoicing period.
- Skipping an invoicing period for periodic costsIt may happen that you want to pause the invoicing of a certain periodic cost, either in general or for a specific owner/object. This can be done by skipping an expected periodic cost invoice instead of creating an actual invoice. This applies to both periodic invoices and utility advance invoices.

- Adding periodic costs to profile or agreementAfter periodic costs have been created, you can link them to an owner profile or individual agreement to be able to properly charge them to owners.
